Rathbun Visiting Fellow 2009

In the footsteps of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, the Office for Religious Life hosted The Honorable George Pratt Shultz as the second Rathbun Visiting Fellow, who delivered his own “Harry’s Last Lecture on a Meaningful Life” on Monday, May 11, 2009 in Stanford Memorial Church to an audience of students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Secretary Shultz serves as the Professor of International Economics at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Thomas W. and Susan B. Ford Distinguished Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He has fulfilled varied and influential roles throughout his career as an academic, business executive, and public servant.
